  • Why did Maxwell's decide to go cashless?
    There were several factors that went into the decision to transition to card and mobile payment only transactions: 1) Eliminating the need to make change allows for quicker transaction times and lower wait times, making the guest experience even better! 2) The cashless model allows us to operate more efficiently and effectively, giving our team members the opportunity to focus more on you, our guest. 3) Keeping guests and team members safe is number one priority for us on the farm. Cashless models have proven to be a safer model to implement across the retail and hospitality industries.
  • Is the entire Farm cashless during the Fall and Christmas Seasons?
    Yes, the entire farm is cashless during our Fall and Christmas Seasons. If you come with cash and not with credit, debit, or mobile, you will have the option to purchase a Maxwell's Money Card. You can purchase your Maxwell's Money Card at the Ticket Booth, North Market, and in the Mercantile. The cards are reloadable at those locations as well.
  • If I come to the Farm during the Season with cash, can I still make purchases?
    Yes. If you come with cash and not with credit, debit, or mobile, you will have the option to purchase a Maxwell's Money Card. You can purchase your Maxwell's Money Card at the Ticket Booth, North Market, and in the Mercantile. The cards are reloadable at those locations as well.
  • Can I get a refund for my Maxwell's Money Card if I don't use all the money?
    No. We will not issue refunds for unused funds on your Maxwell's Money Card, but your card will never expire, so you can use it during other visits to the Farm. You may scan the QR code on the back of your card to determine your balance.
  • What forms of payment are accepted?
    We accept Maxwell Money, Debit, Visa, Discover, American Express, and MasterCard.
